While someone who can tell you where to put your hands during portraits is helpful, too much of a good thing can start to feel like you’re performing instead of actually enjoying what’s happening around you.
Because when every moment is accounted for, posed, or paused, it becomes harder to stay connected to the people you’re there to celebrate with in the first place.
Of course, I’ll step in to guide you through portraits so you’re never left wondering what to do. But the rest of the day?
You’re not being pulled aside every five minutes or stopped mid-conversation for another photo. You’re sipping something sweet during cocktail hour, taking in the sunset with your forever person, and savoring the wedding cake you spent weeks dreaming about.
Because it’s not my wedding. And your photos aren’t my portfolio pieces. They’re your memories, and you deserve to be there for every single one.
"She photographed our engagement session, my bridal portraits, and our wedding day. Every experience was so thoughtfully planned and enjoyable.
She also helped brainstorm our wedding day timeline ahead of time, making sure all of the special moments I wanted photographed were accounted for.
Our final gallery is more beautiful than I could have imagined. The photos don't just document the day, they tell our story and perfectly capture the love, joy, and personalities of everyone involved. I'm so grateful to not only call Autumn a friend but also to have had her preserve some of the most important memories of our lives. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer who is talented, organized, creative, and truly invested in capturing meaningful moments.
I'm worried if people read that I'm a good friend of hers that they will think she just said those things because I'm her friend and will lose credibility to trust that review. I feel like this part still gets the same point across. I do see that this still also says friend but think it comes across that we become friends through her wedding planning/ wedding and weren't great friend prior to the wedding."
From a young age, I was drawn to photography—always experimenting with my mom’s Kodak camera and taking pictures of anything (and anyone) I didn’t want to forget.
I like to say I took my first “selfie” at seven years old, holding that camera backwards to capture a photo with my great-grandmother while we sat together during a family vacation in Minnesota. To this day, it’s still one of my favorites.
And while the camera has definitely changed since then, the reason behind it hasn’t.
That perspective only deepened when I started capturing weddings.
There’s so much happening all at once, and I realized pretty quickly that when a day is overly structured or constantly directed, it becomes a lot harder to actually experience those once-in-a-lifetime moments in real time.
With me, you’ll never feel pressured or rushed.
You’ll simply feel at ease, knowing that your day is unfolding exactly the way it’s meant to, and that nothing important is missed along the way.

Hanging at the barn or preparing for a local stock show with my Gypsy Cross gelding, Everest. He’s been with me through so much, and he’s a cherished reminder of the life I love.
Spending time with my husband (and best friend), Joel. We got married in 2023, and being a bride gave me a whole new appreciation for how quickly those moments pass.
Reflecting on my faith and how it’s shaped the way I see the world. It’s what helps me notice and appreciate the moments that might otherwise pass by.
In the kitchen, usually baking sourdough or testing a new chocolate chip cookie recipe. It’s my favorite way to slow down and notice the goodness in every day.
Studying for my PhD in Animal Science at Texas A&M. My work focuses on identifying how genetics impact animal health and helping producers make better breeding decisions.
Talking with my couples about what matters most to them—not just for their wedding day, but for the life they’re building together. It’s one of my favorite parts of what I do.
Clear communication, quick responses, and showing up exactly how I say I will. You’ll never be left guessing where things stand or what comes next.
I take the time to truly get to know you and your partner, so it never feels like you have just another vendor by your side, but someone who understands what matters most to you.
I keep my wedding calendar intentionally limited so I can give you and your celebration the time, care, and attention you deserve.
The way I serve my couples is rooted in my faith and love for Christ, showing up with patience, kindness, and genuine care for the people I work with.
