frequently asked questions
WHERE ARE YOU BASED? DO YOU TRAVEL FOR WEDDINGS?
I’m based in College Station, Texas, and photograph weddings locally, statewide, and worldwide. Travel is always welcome, whether you’re staying close to home or planning something a little farther away.
CAN WE BOOK AN ENGAGEMENT SESSION BEFORE BOOKING OUR WEDDING?
Yes! If you want to get a better understanding of my photography style and find out if we’re a good fit for your wedding day, this is a great way to do so.
DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?
I do! A 25% retainer is required to secure your date, and the remaining balance is due 30 days before your wedding. From there, we can create a payment plan that works best for you.
HOW MANY IMAGES WILL WE RECEIVE?
I don’t believe in limiting your gallery to a set number of images. The final count depends on your coverage, but most couples receive around 50-100 images per hour of photography.
HOW DO WE PRINT OUR PHOTOS?
You’ll have two options! You can order prints directly through your online gallery, or you’re welcome to download and print your images on your own using the included print release. For the highest quality prints, I recommend printing through your gallery, which uses a professional print lab. Places like Walgreens, Walmart, and same-day printers tend to produce lower-quality results that don’t reflect your images accurately.
CAN WE ORDER A WEDDING ALBUM?
Absolutely—it’s one of my favorite parts of the process. Your wedding photos deserve more than to live on a screen, and I'd love to help you create an heirloom album you can hold close for years to come. Just reach out when you’re ready, and I’ll guide you through it.
DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH INTIMATE WEDDINGS AND ELOPEMENTS?
I do, and I love them! There’s something really special about celebrations that keep the focus on your connection and what the day truly represents.
DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH DESTINATION WEDDINGS?
Yes! I love traveling for weddings and offer special pricing for select bucket-list locations, including Alaska, Hawaii, Maine, Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons, Montana, and parts of Europe—especially Italy, France, Germany, and Sweden. Inquire to learn more!
DO YOU CARRY LIABILITY INSURANCE?
Yes, I carry full liability insurance to ensure peace of mind for both you and your venue. If your venue requires proof of coverage, I’m happy to provide it.
CAN YOU GIVE US VENDOR RECOMMENDATIONS?
Definitely! There are several vendors I love working with and trust completely, so I’m always happy to share those recommendations with you. In some cases, I also offer package incentives when you book with preferred vendors.
DO WE NEED TO HIRE A WEDDING PLANNER OR DAY-OF COORDINATOR?
Yes, I require all weddings I photograph to have at least a day-of coordinator.
This allows me to stay fully focused on you, your guests, and documenting your day, rather than managing logistics behind the scenes. A great coordinator keeps everything running smoothly so you can actually enjoy your wedding, and trust me, it makes a huge difference in how the day feels.
